MJ Furnish is the founder and managing member of EXLO LLC. He has extensive experience working inside and alongside multibillion-dollar organizations, with a diverse background spanning public accounting, corporate finance, and nonprofit organizations. He started EXLO LLC to bring that big-company rigor to individuals and small businesses who deserve the same quality of financial guidance.
MJ began his career at Ernst & Young, where he audited large, publicly traded clients, tested internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and coached newer team members. He then joined a multibillion-dollar global public company, where he led internal audit and consulting engagements before transitioning into a financial planning and analysis role. As the finance partner to VP- and executive-level leaders, he managed forecasts and budgets for approximately $70 million in spend, identifying risks and opportunities along the way. He also spent time supporting sales finance, where he owned the target-setting process for a U.S. sales organization generating over $2 billion in annual revenue, managed customer rebate programs, and connected financial results to enterprise strategy. Today, MJ serves as Director of Business Operations at Servant Solutions, where he is responsible for finance and accounting oversight, HR strategy, and IT/cybersecurity supervision. At EXLO, MJ brings the same attention to detail, clear communication, and commitment to excellence to every client, helping them make financial decisions with confidence.
MJ holds an MBA with a concentration in Operations Management and bachelor's degrees in accounting and business information systems from Anderson University, where he now serves on the Falls School of Business Advisory Board. Motivated by his faith, he is active in nonprofit and community work. When he is not working or volunteering, his favorite hobby is simply spending time with his wife and children.
